Vacancy | CLUB Development Officer
Location: This is a hybrid role with opportunities to work remotely from the Berks & Bucks FA office (Milton Park, OX14 4SB), home and around the County.
Salary: Band 4 (£26,280 - £32,121 ) per annum, dependent on experience.
Hours: 35 hours per week. (Requirement to work evenings and weekends in line with the demands of the role.)
Contract: Full time - Fixed Term Contract (Expiring June 2028).
Additional Information: Following appointment, the opportunity to apply internally to manage the Participation Team alongside this role, will be available. A salary enhancement would be applied if successful.
The opportunity
If you are passionate about grassroots sport and the pivotal role it plays in getting people active and healthy then we have a fantastic opportunity for you. This role will focus on supporting and further developing our grassroots clubs, to ensure they providing accessible opportunities for all.
We know that football has the power to 'Connect People & Change Lives' and this is why we are looking to recruit a passionate and energetic individual to join the Development Team. The successful individual will lead our engagement with clubs, supporting them to offer a wider variety of provisions, and that they are as sustainable operations. There will also be a focus on supporting and growing the volunteer workforce with our clubs.

Main responsibilities
• Lead on the engagement and communication with clubs, ensuring that clubs feel connected and supported.
• Aid with the recruitment and training of new and existing club volunteers
• Increase the number of players transitioning from Youth to Adult participation.
• Strategically lead the growth of England Football Accredited Clubs & Leagues
Who we're looking for...
• Practical experience in sports / football development
• Knowledge and understanding of working with volunteers
• Ability to communicate and present to individuals from a range of backgrounds

• You are practised at developing networks and relationships with a variety of stakeholders
• Understanding of operations of grassroots clubs
